We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, phone number, email address, and details about your mortgage requirements when you submit an enquiry form or make a booking. We may also collect information about how you use our website (see Cookie Policy).
How we use your information
We use your information to: respond to your mortgage enquiry; provide mortgage advice and arrange mortgages on your behalf; comply with our legal and regulatory obligations as an FCA Appointed Representative; send you relevant updates (with your consent). Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the basis of: (a) your consent when you submit an enquiry; (b) contract performance when we are providing you with mortgage advice; (c) legal obligation to meet FCA regulatory requirements including record-keeping and complaints handling.
How long we keep your data
We retain mortgage advice records for a minimum of 6 years in accordance with FCA record-keeping requirements. Enquiry records where no advice was provided are deleted after 2 years. You may request deletion subject to our regulatory obligations.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Enquiry forms are processed via Netlify Forms with SSL encryption. We do not store credit card or financial account details.

We share your data with: mortgage lenders when processing your application; protection insurance providers when arranging cover; The Lending Channel Ltd as our regulatory principal; compliance and legal advisers as required. We do not share your data with unconnected third parties.
